In the past week, our team has worked on the rough drafts of visual assets, ideation in technical design and marketing. Today our social media and website have gone live!
As one of the project managers, I had planned out the meeting schedule for today (Wednesday) ahead of time where we started with quickly voting on the first drafts of media creation, logos and some other marketing assets. This was a quick way to move forward in our design process and allow everyone to get started with final versions. Afterwards, we went around the group with what tasks they needed to do and when it would be completed. Following this, we spent some time taking headshots and group photos for the website and social media. I gave everyone 1 hour to continue working and collaborate within their own smaller teams e.g. working out the technical interaction design details. We ended our meeting today with a regroup and plan on meeting again on Sunday where all tasks should be complete, Friday will be a check in via text.
By Sunday, our group will have all of their tasks complete leaving Monday and Tuesday as a contingency plan in case there are any last minute jobs, and we will also plan our speech and presentation for Wednesday. I am overall, extremely pleased with how hard working and considerate our group members have been. I look forward to seeing how everything comes together in the end!
